Jedi Mind Tricks

Isn’t it interesting that we humans can actually reprogram our conscious and subconscious mind? With every day more I see the neccessity of such a reprogramming – our minds have not been properly upgraded to function well in the modern age.

They mostly still operate on software from the stone age and hence need a little reboot to create a smoother experience for the mind, body and soul alltogether.

Maybe you have already experienced how strongly your memory is linked to time and space – especially space. This is because back in the day, we needed to remember where that source of drinkable water or eatable berries was.

Our memory was established for survival reasons, hence so many minds are in constant survival mode to this day. Our remembering minds are like velcro for negative experiences and teflon for positive ones. It simply wasn’t neccessary to remember the good times. It was more important to remember the bad stuff, for example how the tiger looked that tried to kill you, or the veggies that poisoned you.

So we actually need to put in a little effort if we want to think positively, if we desire to act from a place of love instead of fear. I read an article yesterday that mentions a sentence by Kurt Vonnegut that might help with that; “If this isn’t nice, I don’t know what is.”

Repeat these words to yourself whenever you’re having a good moment. Take the time to let every particle that makes it the experience it is sink in. The smell. The taste. The sounds. The colors. The feelings. The beings. The atmosphere. Everything.

If this isn’t nice, I don’t know what is.

And see how suddenly you remember more of the good stuff, which makes your mind move a little slower and more at ease. What I love most about neuroplasticity is that it’s name is the most complex thing about it; the human mind software is easily reprogrammable.

Tuning into other brain frequencies fortifies results and speeds up the process – Trance Healing and Hypnotherapy have helped me personally tons with this.
